Description:   Barnaby is a brand new design and style for Delartful Bears. He is made to look like a gorgeous old style bear. He has a lovely round tummy and bottum, and a hump on his back. He has been carefully hand stitched and is made from a very pretty, soft brown mohair. The mohair is made by Schulte, and it's a Tufted variety. The Mohair is a gorgeous, giving Barnaby a very old antiquey look. I have made some blad patches, trimmed some patches and matted some parts of his mohair to add to his well loved look. His foot pads are made from quality Shadow Suede, which is brown in colour. His foot pads have been shaded in numerous colours for added warmth and depth.


He is 5 cotter pin jointed, with a loose wobble joint in the head so he can be posed in many cute positions. He has been filled firmly with high quality polyester stuffing and weighted using steel shot in his feet and tummy. With help, Barnaby can stand unaided but is more comfortable sitting. He has premium German glass eyes.




Like all Delartful Bears, Barnaby's face has been carefully hand plucked and lightly needle sculpted. Hand shading has been added to his face, paw and foot pads and all along his seam lines to give him that perfectly aged looked His nose has been hand stitched with perle thread and then carefully waxed. Like all Delartful Bears, Barnaby has a lovely round tummy and bottum.
